No Distributions for 10 Years
No Distributions for 10 Years
One of the defining commitments of the HOPE Method is simple and demanding: do not plan on taking money out for the first ten years. This separates builders from consumers. Early distributions feel like progress, but they quietly interrupt compounding and weaken the system just as it is trying to stabilize.
Keeping cash inside the LLC for a decade allows properties to fund their own repairs, build strong reserves, responsibly upgrade, and acquire additional assets without stress. It also reduces partnership conflict, because no one is arguing over payouts. The focus stays on strengthening the system so that when distributions finally begin, they are larger, calmer, and truly optional.
