The Idea Incubator is the open workshop of Hope MetaVersity and We Help People Everywhere, Inc. Projects from both get posted here — what each one is, where it stands, and what it still needs. Anyone can read it. Anyone can bring the next one.
What it is
Most ideas die in somebody's head. The Incubator exists to get them out of there and onto a page — described plainly, given a status, and put in front of people who might have the skill, the time, or the tool it needs next.
A business, a charity program, a class, a tool, a fix for something broken in your town. It does not have to be finished, funded, or clever. It has to be written down.
Each project gets an entry on the board: what it is, what stage it is at, and what it needs next. The entry changes as the work changes, so nobody has to ask how it's going.
Projects list what they're short of — a volunteer, a trade skill, a lesson someone could teach, a piece of equipment. Readers answer the ones they can help with.
How it works

Someone from Hope MetaVersity or We Help People Everywhere reads every submission and writes back with what we think, whether or not we take it on.
Ideas we take on get posted on this site with an honest status, so the work is visible from the first day rather than only after it succeeds.
Volunteers, mentors, and classes from the school attach to the project as it goes. Some ideas grow. Some stall. Both stay posted, marked for what they are.
